First entry in a while...I did say that I might update once in a while, so here it goes:

Over Spring Break, I went to Chicago with my family. We stayed in an Embassy Suites hotel, in a western suburb of Chicago called Lombard, IL. The first day we were there, my sister was sick. Most of the day, we just idled around the hotel (which was actually not too boring because the hotel had plenty of amenities). However, I did get to meet up with a friend, Alex Chen, that I made over the summer while at my medicine college camp at UCLA. We went to see a movie at the mall near the hotel. We originally intended to see V for Vendetta, but he wasn't old enough to see those R-rated movies. We saw Ice Age 2 instead XD.

The dolphin show!

My sister and I outside the Shedd Aquarium.

The second day, my sister was feeling better, so we headed out of the hotel to Chicago. First thing's first! We went to the Shedd Aquarium to see all those animals that live under the sea. My sister loved it, of course, because she has always been obsessed with fish, dolphins, and other water creatures. We also drove around the U Chicago campus...I can't say it was my favorite. Being located in the rough south side of Chicago does not make me feel safe on the campus, nor do the security posts located at every intersection. China Town for Dinner!

The northeastern view from the top of the Sears Tower.

The third day, we started at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. It's such a big science museum!! I wish we could have spent more time there. I got to see the U-505 German u-boat there, which was used in WWII (APUSH!). I didn't get to see half of the museum (they closed at 4PM! >_>). We then climbed up to the Sears Tower skydeck. 360 degree views of Chicago! <3 =D.

Finally on the last (half) day, we took a look at Northwestern. Much better than U Chicago! On the coast of Lake Michigan, ah...it's a place I could see myself being able to study at.

Spring Break's over...Back to school...A busy April and May awaits me. SAT Subject Tests, APs, Band Trip (to Chicago -_-;;), and soccer

My promised update...

I don't feel much like blogging. No time.

So this blog will remain rather quiet. Don't check back frequently, at least not until the summer.

I might update once in a blue moon...

So, lots to be said. 2 weekends ago, I went to Le Cirque du Soleil: Corteo. Amazing! Absolutely cool! =D The acrobats were fantastic, except for the tight rope act,  because there was a string attached to the walker's back, which made it wholly unimpressive.

Last weekend, I did a magic show at the Pax Christi Halloween Carnival. It went great! It was a volunteering job, and I did 4 10-15-minute shows in 2 hours. Between shows, I would perform for people walking around the carnival. There was success on many levels. I performed all of my tricks without a hitch and I was able to hand out business cards XD. But most importantly, it seemed to me that my audience was having fun.

I have been asked to do 3 surveys...So they will come out one/post. hohoxxi/macro, here's yours ^_^. *Note that each post will include at least one "special" feature. Sometimes it might be my (not so) obligatory cool links, a video, or a survey.

The rules: List five songs that you are currently loving.  It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now.  Post these instructions, the artists, and the songs in your xanga, and then tag five other xanga friends to see what they're listening to.

1. dj TAKA - Frozen Ray (Original Mix)

2. Folder5 - Ready!

3. Mr. T - Burning Heat (3 Option Mix)

4.  Paul Van Dyk - Connected

5. Faraway Project - Without Fear (Goldenscan Remix)

Tag: hohoxxi/macro/Stephen, David Cook, Crudelis, Fiona, Josh S...whenever you post.

Don't feel obliged to participate. Only do it if you want...
My predictions (genres):
Stephen - Trance...duh
David - Trance
Crudelis - dunno...jpop, trance, rap?
Fiona - electronic tracks + classic rock + Blue Man
Josh - Whatever is on his Ipod...
